Katherine Grace Smith

Katherine Grace Smith, age 87 of Crosby, passed away at Silver Maple Care Center in Brainerd on September 11, 2025.  She was born in Emily on June 7, 1938 to Richard and Alma (Buchite) Dickerson.

Katherine attended the Crosby-Ironton High School.  She was a CNA at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center along with being a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Ralph Olson of Ironton; one sister, Sandra Dalton of Bayer/North Plate, Nebraska; five grandchildren, Melanie Rehbein, Jody Corey, Ed Corey, Amy Olson and Phillip Olson; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Katherine in death are her parents; one daughter, Beverly Olson; one brother, Joe Dickerson and one sister, Mary Ellen Hughes.

No services are being held.  Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
