Katherine Anne West

Katherine "Kathy, Katie" Smith West age 75, passed away May 15, 2012 in Brainerd. Kathy grew up in Prospect Park, Mpls and was preceded in death by her husband Paul West, and Siblings, Louise Pattridge and William A. Smith. She is survived by her twin sister, Phebe (Dave) Smith, her step children, Sue (Mike) Heglund, Kim Ellis and Randy (Laura) West, Five step grandchildren, seven nephews and three nieces. Kathy was a beautiful lady who loved being together with family and friends and was devoted to her dogs. She was a long-term employee of Northwestern and Wells-Fargo Banks in Minneapolis. Services will be 1 pm on Saturday, May 26th at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd, 300 Buffalo Hills Lane. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis Wednesday, May 23 at 1 pm. Memorials are preferred to the Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Arrangements, Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
