Kenneth Freeman Gillette Jr. age 61 of Nokay Lake Township died on June 20, 2012 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. He was born on February 17, 1951 in St. Paul to Kenneth and Helen (McGuigan) Gillette Sr. He married Cathy Ellen Benson on October 10, 1986 in Crosby. Survivors include his wife Cathy; 1 son Ken III (Kristy) Gillette of Maplewood; 2 daughters, Heather (Tom) Gangi of Fairborn, Ohio and Jennifer Gillette of Brainerd; his parents, Kenneth and Helen Gillette Sr. of St. Paul; 3 sisters, Pam (Steve) Silver of St. Paul, Judy (Dale) Hardek of Placentia, CA and Jane (Nigel) Wattrus of Duluth; and 1 grandchild. A private family service was held. Burial was at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Nokay Lake Township. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
