Kenneth Duane Moe

Kenneth Duane Moe age 79, of Crosby, passed away on April 18, 2026 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. He was born in Crosby on August 9, 1946 to William and Agnes (Sorenson) Moe. Ken was united in marriage to Barbara Bickford on August 12, 1972 in Crosby.

Ken was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Vietnam. He was a retired employee of Potlatch with 30 years of service. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby and the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. Ken was a retired member of the Crosby Fire Department, served as a Civil Defense Coordinator for the City of Crosby; former member of the planning and zoning for the City of Crosby; a member of AA for 35 years; was Cub Scout Master for troop 100 and a Girl Scout Grandpa for Troop 45.

Ken is survived by his wife, Barb; two daughters, Becky (Jeff) Sundstrom of Henning and Sara Moe of Crosby; two grandchildren, Brady (Courtney) Sabyan and Ally Sabyan; one step grandchild, Jeff Sundstrom Jr.; one great grandchild, Shae Sabyan and one great grandchild on the way; one sister, Betty Swensen of Emily and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Ken in death are his parents; one daughter, Michelle Moe; one son, Eric Moe; two brothers, Clarence and Robert Moe; and three sisters, Ruby Nelson, Glennis Maruskie and Geraldine Klopfleisch.

A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church and one hour prior to the service also at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors presented by the Myrin- James American Legion Post. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
