Kevin Jimmie Geyer
April 3, 1960 — December 2, 2017
Kevin J. Geyer age 57 of Crosby passed away on December 2, 2017 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby following a battle with cancer. He was born on April 3, 1960 in Owatonna to Leo and Esther (Bettin) Geyer. Kevin grew up in Crosby, graduating from the Crosby-Ironton High School. He worked construction most of his life. He was employed by Sembeck Associates for the last 10 years. Kevin had a great love for the outdoors and fishing. When he wasn’t working, he was on the lake fishing.
Kevin is survived by his son, Mitchell; sisters, Jeanne Kreslins, Diane (Jim) Paulson, Mahela (Gary) Lester, LaRae Geyer and LeAnn VanDerSchaegen; brothers, Darwin (Marcia) Geyer, Thomas (Rebecca) Geyer, Gary Geyer and Timothy (Irene) Geyer; nieces, nephews and special friends.
Preceding him death are his parents; brothers, Darrell Geyer, Dalmer Geyer and Fredrick Geyer; brother-in-law, Roland Hukriede; Sister-in-law, Lucianna Geyer; nieces and nephews, Antony Kreslins, Shari Hukriede, Antony Geyer, Cory Kreslins, Melissa Lester, Jennifer Geyer and Angela Thompson.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
