Laurene Alice Chapman

Laurene Alice Chapman, age 103 of Crosby formerly of Outing died on October 13, 2022 at the Pierz Villa in Pierz.  She was born in Delhi, MN on June 19, 1919 to Carl and Ida Swenson.  Laurene married Robert Chapman on June 16, 1939 in Fairfax.  She was a member of the Emily United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.

Laurene is survived by three sons, Richard (Shelley) Chapman of Las Vegas, NV,  Paul (Barbara) Chapman of Bloomington, MN and Thomas (Mary) Chapman of Brooklyn Center, MN; two daughters, Judith (Daniel) Klement of Remer, MN and Margaret (Robert) Peterson of Fort Meyers, FL; 16 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

Preceding Laurene in death are her parents; husband, Robert “Bob” in 2012; one brother Robert Swenson and one sister, Edith Rowan.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2022 at the United Methodist Church, Emily.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
