Lawrence Lynn Maier

Lawrence (Larry) Maier, age 59, of St. Cloud died on Friday December 14, 2012 at St. Cloud Hospital. He was born on March 15, 1953 in Brainerd, MN to Wayne and Doris (Evenson) Maier. He married Norma Tresiana on January 7, 1974, in Manila, Philippines. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during Vietnam (1971-1974). He was employed with the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud from 1975-1988.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Norma; one son, Kristoffer Maier of Wasilla, Alaska; two daughters; Tina Maier of St. Cloud, and Leea Maier of St. Cloud; his father, Wayne Maier; one brother Bruce (Ellen) Maier of Brainerd; two sisters; Brenda (Mark) BonAmie of St. Cloud and Tamra (Kenneth) Athmann of Brainerd; and one grandchild, Emma Maier.
Preceding him in death is his mother, Doris Maier.
Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors given by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton.
