He worked as a clerk/carrier for the United States Postal Service in Brainerd for over thirty years. Lee married Ellen Guy on September 30th, 1978 in Big Sky, Montana. His pride and joy were his daughters, Kelly and Sarah, and his four grandchildren. Lee loved to hunt ducks, geese and deer, and he loved all kinds of fishing. Lee founded the Cuyuna Range Ducks Unlimited chapter in the early 1980’s. He was a terrific golfer, and a life-long member of Cuyuna Country Club/Cuyuna Rolling Hills. Lee served as president of the Serpent Lake Association, and worked diligently to improve the water quality of the lake and maintain the lake’s buoys.
