Leo G. Boog Sr.

Leo G. Boog Sr., age 91 of Crosslake died on October 10, 2022 at Essentia-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.  He was born in St. Paul on June 12, 1931 to Alexander and Angela (Stewart) Boog.  He was a U.S. Marine Corp. veteran serving the Korean War and was a life time member of the Crosslake American Legion Post #500. Leo was a retired Clerk with the Son Line Railroad in St. Paul.

Preceding Leo in death are his parents; his wife, Rita; two sons, Michael and Leo Jr. Boog; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Leo is survived by three sons, Dave Boog and Steve Boog both of Pine River and Bill Boog of Fort Meyers, FL; two daughters, Robyn Kielsa and Peg Boog both of Crosslake; fifteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Crosslake American Legion.  Memorials are preferred for the Scholarship Program at Crosslake American Legion in lieu of flowers.
