Leonard Lang

Leonard "Lenny" Lang Jr. age 61 died on September 20, 2011 at his home. He was born on February 24, 1950 in Minneapolis to Leonard and Kathleen (McKinnon) Lang Sr. He married Kristen Margaret Erickson on August 22, 1982 in Minneapolis. Lenny was a retired chief of the Crooked Lake Fire Department, Outing; retired DNR Forestry Technician Washburn Lake Office; Past owner of Lake Country Grocery and Liquor in Outing and retired School Board member for Northland School District, Remer, MN. He is survived by his wife Kristen; 3 sons, Aaron (Kelly) Lang of Ham Lake; Michael Lang of Duluth; and Daniel Lang of Salt Lake City, Utah; 2 sisters, Marlene (Thomas) Kelly and Catherine Lang both of Minneapolis; and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents. A time of gathering will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2011 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 1 to 3:30 pm.
