Letty Lee Henderson

Letty Lee Henderson peacefully passed away on Aug.7, 2026 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby, MN. She was born on September 8,1944 in Pensacola, FL. Letty Lee was proud to call Grand Rapids, MN her hometown and graduated from Greenway High School, Coleraine in 1962.

Preceding Letty in death are her parents Letty C. Prigge and Earl D. Henderson.

Letty Lee is survived by several cousins, a stepbrother, and many friends through her faith in Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior.

Letty Lee’s attention to detail led her to working as a data typist for three insurance companies and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Minneapolis, and as a bank bookkeeper and teller in Bovey and Bemidji. Her true passion for making Hardanger embroidery resulted in dozens of intricate designs, and ultimately Letty Lee’s work was featured in fine needlework publications. She was proud to show friends and family her pieces “in progress” and proudly showed that the back was just as neat as the front! More than one altar cloth is still proudly displayed today.

In recent years, Letty Lee made many special friends at Brookstone Manor in Grand Rapids, Vitality Living in Remer, and Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby.

A Graveside service will be held at the Pine Ridge Cemetery on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at 1 p.m. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. koopfuneralhome.com
