Lila Marcella Violett

Lila Marcella Violett age 97 of Crosby formerly of Outing died on March 28, 2017 at the Hallett Cottages in Crosby. She was born on July 11, 1919 in Gay, Michigan to William and Elida (Mansicka) Luoma. Lila was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Outing.
Lila is survived by five sons, William “Jim” Violett of Monticello, John (Faith Ann) Violett of Great Falls, MT, Milton Violett of Granbury, TX, Louis (Lavonne) Violett of Casa Grande, AZ and Victor (Karen) Violett of New Hope; five daughters, Patricia (Ken) Bressler, Joanne Carlson and Mary (Ken) Foty all of Outing, Dolly Driver of Brainerd and Bonnie (Larry) Berczyk of Burnsville; one brother, Fred Luoma of South Haven; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Preceding Lila in death are her parents; husband, William; one son, Marvin Violett, one daughter, RuthAnn Clabo; four brothers, Doug, Felix Ronald, Harvey Luoma and one great grandson, Zachary Violett.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Outing. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Visitation will be at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm and on Monday one hour prior to the services at the church.
