Linda Lou Prokop age 61 of Crosby died on January 29, 2011 at U of M Medical Center, Fairview in Minneapolis. She was born on February 5, 1949 in Duluth to Richard and Alyce (Gamst) Feirling. She married Dennis M. Prokop on March 23, 1967 in Souix falls, S.D . Linda was a paraprofessional serving the Crosby-Ironton School District. Survivors include her husband Denny; 1 son Michael Prokop of Lakeville; 2 daughters, Laurie (Mark) Sporre of Blaine and Carrie (Tye) Prokop-Roberts of Annandale; Her mother, Alyce Burson of Crosby; 1 sister, Sandy (Dan) Papadopoulos of Melbourne, Australia, and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father and 2 sisters, Leslie Butler and Janet Malecha. Friends may call on Saturday, February 5th at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 1 to 4 PM, with a time of sharing at 3 PM.
