Linnea P Monson

Linnea P. Monson age 57 of Ironton formerly of Riverton died on February 28, 2014 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born on August 24, 1956 in Crosby to Fritz and Hazel (Johnson) Monson.
Linnea worked for the State of Minnesota for over 30 years and recently retired. She was a fun loving person who had a great sense of humor and a caring heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends and remain in our hearts forever.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Scott; grandchildren, Mason, Dawson, Kennedy; sisters, Judy Duffy, Terry (Roger) Wig, Gayle (Wayne) Lyman; Brothers, Donnie (Kathy) Monson, Rocky (Maki) Monson; many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; brother, Billy and Merle; husband, Ray Sumpter and special friend, Ralph Katuhn.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
