Lisa Marie Finnerty

Lisa Marie Finnerty, age 55 of Crosby died on July 18, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  She was born in Minneapolis on April 30, 1966 to Gerald and Gretchen (Fuller) Finnerty.  Lisa graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1984.  She received a BA degree in Physical Education and Health from the Bemidji State University. Lisa was a former teacher in the Pequot Lakes School District and was a former Chemical Dependency Counselor for the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibway in Onamia.  Lisa had a passion for helping those in need.  She had a kind heart and a caring way in which she treated others.

Lisa is survived by her son, Casey Finnerty of Crosby; her parents, Jerry and Gretchen Finnerty of Aitkin; one brother, Jason Finnerty of Deerwood and one sister, Krista (Bryan) Jones of Cuyuna.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 23, 2021 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
