Lloyd Albert Gragert age 88 of Emily died May 5, 2013 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on March 13, 1925 in Bordulac, ND to Lloyd E. and Ida (Sills) Gragert. He married Dolores Sandhoff on July 22, 1950 in Brainerd. He was a WWII army veteran, serving in the Phillipines and Japan with the infantry from 1944 to 1946. Lloyd was a Crane operator with Fabcon, Inc., Savage; worked for Bill Colah Construction and Rauenhorst Corp, and a retired member of International Union of Operators Engineers Local 49. With his wife Dolores retired to their Roosevelt Lake place in 1987, which Lloyd built. Survived by his wife, Dolores: 2 sons, Larry (Carol) Gragert and Mike Gragert; 1 sister, Lorraine Newton; 1 granddaughter, Rachel (Jesse) Dahlheimer; 2 great grandchildren, Destiny Campbell and Brody Dahlheimer; 4 nieces, Vicki, Melissa, Chris, and Laurie and 1 nephew, Dick. Preceding him in death are his parents; 1 brother, Robert Gragert and 1 grandson, Blake Gragert. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, May 11, 2013 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Outing. Military Honors will be given by the Myrin-James American Legion Post 443, Ironton. Burial will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery, Emily. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
