Lois Jean Erickson

Lois Jean Erickson age 89 of Crosby died on October 4, 2015 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on November 29, 1925 in St. Paul to Nils Bertiland Frances (Johnson) Persson.
Lois was a former secretary and receptionist for the Gillette Corporation in St. Paul and a form proof reader for the Crosby-Ironton Courier. She was a member of the Deerwood Baptist Church.
In 1945, Lois married Glenn Holmgren. Together they had four children. Lois is survived by 2 sons, Glenn Holmgren of Phoenix, AZ and Steve Holmgren also of Phoenix, AZ; 2 daughters, Kathy (Dr. Mike) Wiedell of Crosby and Barb (Don) Olesen of Anoka; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Preceding Lois in death are her parents, 2nd husband, Vernon Erickson; and 1 sister, Lucille Persson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
