Lois Ann Taylor, age 87 of Deerwood, passed away on June 23, 2026 at the Heartwood Care Center in Crosby. She was born on August 10, 1938 in Crosby to Walter and Delcie (Butler) Gross. Lois was united in marriage to Frank Robert “Bob” Taylor on March 11, 1956.
Together with her husband they owned and operated the Western Auto in Crosby. Lois was a retired employee of Crosby Manufacturing employee with 22 years of service. She enjoyed the local bowling leagues and card clubs, as well as doing needle work such as embroidery, knitting and crocheting. Lois also loved spending time with her family on Hamlet Lake.
Lois is survived by one son, Jim (Sandy) Taylor; one daughter, Lisa (Brendan) Hiles of Breezy Point; one brother, James (Val) Gross of Maple Grove; ten grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Preceding Lois in death are her parents; her husband, Bob; an infant son and one grandson.
A Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Heartwood on Saturday. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
