Lois Ulm

Lois Ulm age 83 of Garrison died on March 2, 2014 at her son's home in Nisswa. She was born on August 26, 1930 in Mankato to Harvey and Emma (Berg) Fischer. Together with her husband Billy they owned and operated Billy's Food Mart in Garrison for 34 years and for 15 years Lois owned and operated the Ye Old Sweet Shoppe in Garrison. Lois and Billy were avid square dancers.
Survivors include 1 son, Mark (Kay) Ulm of Nisswa and 1 daughter, Lucy Ulm of International Falls; 1 sister, Betty Gram of Mankato; nine grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Billy; 2 sons, Kurt and Harvey Ulm; 2 granddaughters, Jennifer Ulm and Kelly Long; 1 great granddaughter, Lauren Ulm; 1 brother, Bob Fischer; and 1 sister, Edith Benson.
Funeral service will be 11 am on Friday, March 7th at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Friday.
