Louise Kay Salwei, 70, Ironton, MN, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at her home. She was born to Jeannette Wimmer and Elmer Volzke, March 22, 1942, in Herreid, S.D. She married Donald Salwei of Zeeland, N.D. on April 11, 1962. They had five daughters.
Louise was an active member of the Catholic Church and Right to Life. She is survived by her children: Jean Salwei, Suzanne (John) Wilber, Anne ( Corey ) Gielarowski, Patricia Salwei, Mari ( Chad) Jordan. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Gerner (Alice) Volzke.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 5th at 11 am at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
