Margaret "Cookie" Cook age 85 of Crosby died on March 4, 2013 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on August 19, 1927 in Garland, Alabama. She was a retired nurses aide with Aicota Nursing Home, Aitkin and Cedarbrook Manor, Deerwood. Survivors include 1 son, Vernon Cook of St. Paul; 2 daughters, Karen Claypatch of St. Paul and Kim (Gordon) Mattson of Deerwood; six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 1 son, Michael Cook. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 2 to 4 pm.
