Marie Lorretta Torgerson

Marie L. Torgerson, age 102 of Crosby died on August 24, 2020 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.  She was born on November 21, 1917 in Ironton to Edward and Laura (Markwardt) LaVictoire.  Marie was a retired dispatcher for Crosby police and fire.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Marie is survived by three sons, David (Joan) Torgerson of Hill City, Henry (Gloria) Torgerson of Aitkin and Joel (Virginia) Torgerson of Crosby; Son-in-law, Kenneth Collins of Aitkin; three daughters, Faye (Allan) Lindblom of Stewart, Vicki Patrick and Christine (Harlan) Miller all of Aitkin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Preceding Marie in death are her parents; husband, Henry; 2 daughters, Diana Torgerson and Ruth Anne Collins; one son, Daryl Torgerson; four brothers, Robert, Clement, Lawrence and Edward LaVictoire; and three sisters, Fern Downs, Dorothy Kaatz and Leona Baudette.

A family service is being planned.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby
