Marlys Margaret (Berry) Sellers Forcier age 76 of Crosby died on February 5, 2016 at her home. She was born on September 13, 1939 in Brainerd to Charles and Viola (Phillips) Berry. She was a Brainerd High School graduate and attended the Anoka Votech. Marlys was employed as a disciplinary officer at the Lino Lakes Correctional Facility with 25 years of service. She was a member of the Ossipee Community Church, the Wyoming Lioness in Wyoming, MN and Red Hat Society. Marlys owned and operated Chuck's Antiques in Stacy. Marlys married Clarence Forcier on May 10, 2014 in Merrifield.
Marlys is survived by her husband Clarence; 1 son, Michael (Debra) Sellers of Crosby; daughter, Cheri (Edward) Gonzales of Ironton; step sons, Duane Forcier of Merrifield and Farren (Susan) Forcier of Fridley; step daughter, Danielle Forcier of Merrifield; two brothers, Charles Berry of Brainerd and Wayne (Shirley) Berry of Deerwood; four sisters, Maureen (Jerry) Olson of Brainerd, Nancy "Lee" (Stan) Sibbert of Nisswa, Cheryl (Matt) Jones of Motley and JoAnn (Tom) Bogie of Crosby; six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Preceding Marlys in death are her parents and 3 children, Patti Sellers, Thomas Sellers and Charles Sellers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lake Edward Cemetery in Lake Edward Township. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday.
