Marlys Fay Ford

Marlys Fay (Longbottom) Ford, 80 years young of Plymouth formerly of Crosby died on July 7 , 2014 at the North Ridge Care Center in New Hope. She was born on December 11, 1933 in Crosby to John Irving and Pauline (Peterson) Longbottom. Marlys married Robert John Ford on May 1, 1954 in Crosby. She graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School.
Survivors include a son, Robert Ford II; a daughter, Paula Ford; granddaughter, Kristina Knowles; a brother, Roy (Sandra) Longbottom; and a sister, Jean Pearson and many other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Robert "Shorty" Ford; and a brother, Wayne Longbottom.
Funeral services will be 2 pm on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday. A celebration of Marlys's life will follow at the Deerstand in Deerwood. In lieu of flowers memorial are preferred to the Cancer Society.
