Mary Ellen Brandt

Mary Brandt age 62 of Deerwood died on January 8, 2019 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born on May 3, 1956 in Moses Lake, Washington to Dominic and Bertha (Benke) Gosciewski.  Mary married Michael Brandt on February 18, 1989 in Payallup, WA.  She was a former employee of Ascensus in Brainerd.  Mary was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.

Mary is survived by her husband Michael; one son, David Brandt of Staples; two brothers, Walter (Sue) Gosciewski of Lacey, WA and Victor (Eileen) Goscienski of Seattle; and one sister, Patricia “Trish” Gosciewski of Lacey, WA.

Preceding Mary in death are her parents.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
