Mary Lou Mirau

Mary Lou Mirau, age 93 of Crosby died at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby on April 8, 2023.  She was born on May 5, 1929 in Crosby to Louis and Isabel (Brown) Raymond.  Mary Lou was a retired Clerk for the city of Deerwood.  She played organ for several area churches.  She attended the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Mary Lou is survived by two sons, Michael (Deb) Mirau of Fort Myers, FL and Dan (Shirley) Mirau of Hasting; four daughters, Mary Johnson of Crosby, Kathy Midthun of Cape Coral, FL, Jane (Doug) Troge of Deerwood and Jennifer (Steve) Brissett of Saginaw; two brothers, Jim (Caroline) Raymond of Duluth and Louis (Millie) Raymond of Abilene, TX; twenty-two grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Preceding Mary Lou in death are her parents; her husband, Robert; son, James Mirau; brother, Joe Raymond and a grandson.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Scandia Cemetery in Deerwood.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Memorials are preferred to the Immanuel's Manna of Malawi Mission.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
