Maryon Frances Aulie

Maryon Frances Aulie age 91 of Crosby died on July 24, 2013 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on January 10, 1922 in Chaffee, ND to Frank and Mamie (Warnken) Cizek. Maryon married Berger Ralph Aulie on April 23, 1949 in Crosby. She graduated from the Crosby Ironton High School, class of 1938. Attended Crosby Junior College and graduated from the College of St. Scholastica with a degree in nursing. She was a longtime employee of the Miners Hospital and the Cuyuna Range District Hospital and was a hospice volunteer. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood and a member of National Catholic Society of Foresters, St. Mary's Court 854 and the CCW. She was also a member of the Dellwood Civic League and the Heritage Preservation Society. Survivors include 3 sons, Michael (Roxanne) Aulie of Deerwood, Stephen (Susan) Aulie of Duluth and Mark (Roxann) Aulie of Mt. Iron; 2 daughters, Barb (Buzz) Neprud of Crosby and Mary (Sy) Stegora of Brainerd; eighteen grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death are her parents, her husband Berger in 2003, 1 sister, Marcella Knight and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 am on Monday, July 29, 2013 at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call on Sunday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4 to 8 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm. Memorials are preferred to the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center's, Home Health Partnership.
