Matthew Dale Mayo

Matthew Dale Mayo age 34 of Benbrook, TX died on April 21, 2018 in San Juan, NM as a result of an automobile accident.  Matthew was born in Fayetteville, NC on August 1, 1983.  Matt was a U.S. Army veteran serving two tours in Iraq with “The Red Dragons.”  He was a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association in Appling, GA.

Matt is survived by his wife, Stephanie of Baxter; his mother and step father, Sandy and Robert Blood of Crosby; his father and step mother, Bill and Linda Mullenix Mayo of Benbrook, TX; one son, Matty Mayo of Baxter; three daughters, Riley Moore and Ricky Moore of Arlington, TX and Sarai Mayo of Baxter; two brothers, Calvin Blood, Mikey Mullenix; seven sisters, Jessica (Adam) Reed of Apple Valley, Erica Jones of Ironton, Tabitha Mayo of Benbrook, TX, Michelle (Michael) Walls of TX, Monica (Frank) Selvister of TX,  Rachael (Josh) Taylor of Cypress, TX and JJ (Matt) Harper of Houston, TX.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter.  Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls with military honors.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
