Maurial "Mo" Bergeron age 89 of Brainerd died on August 3, 2012 at the Woodland Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. He was born to Omer and Lillian (Hillman) Bergeron on February 25, 1923 in Minneapolis. He was a retired service tech for Burroughs Corporation with 40 years of service. He was a Minneapolis Central High School alumni. Mo was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran serving as a pilot in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood, the Breath of Life in Brainerd and the Bay Lake Area Lions. Survivors include his son, Steve (Kay) Bergeron of Brooklyn Park; 2 daughters, Sandy (Dean Elstad) Bergeron of Brooklyn Park and Carol Malin of Zephyr Hills, FL; 1 brother, John (Charlotte) Bergeron of Detroit Lakes and 1 sister, Patty Diegre of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death are his parents and his wife Yvonne. Funeral services will be 11 am on Monday, August 13, 2012 at Salem Lutheran Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis on Tuesday, August 14th at 11 am with Military honors. Friends may call on Monday at the church 1 hour prior to the 11 am service. If so desired memorials are preferred to the Breath of Life in Brainerd. Arrangements are with Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
