Maxine Joyce Chase

Maxine Joyce Chase, 85, of Crosby, MN died peacefully at home on December 7, 2016.
Maxine was born in Minneapolis MN on March 12, 1931 to parents John and Olga Borsheim. She lived in South Minneapolis and graduated from Washburn High School in 1949. She married Paul on July 24, 1952. They had two children, Gregory born in 1962 and Rebecca in 1965. They have three grandchildren, Eric, Kaitlyn, and Anthony, and one great grandson Marshall Gregory. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Gregory who died of cancer in 2010.
Maxine was pianist in several churches in Minneapolis and the Iron Range Christian Center locally. She loved gospel music and she loved her Lord. The Lord was first in everything she did. While raising two kids, Greg and Rebecca, she never lost her sense of humor or her infectious giggle. She touched people’s lives on a daily basis.
A memorial service will be held 1:30pm Saturday, December 17 at the Lifespring church in Crosby. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
