Michael LaVern Hummel age 59 of Ironton died on April 14, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mike was born on July 21, 1952 in Crosby to George and Marjorie (Ridlon) Hummel. He married Virginia A. Ferrari on April 14, 1978 in Crosby. He is survived by 3 sons and daughter-in-law: Michael G. Hummel and Paul S. Hummel both Of Ironton and Jim (Tammi) Anderson of Moose Lake; 2 daughters and sons-in-law; Sasha (Eric) Burgstaler of Pequot Lakes and Tina (Pat) Glenn of Redding, CA; 5 brothers and sisters- In law: Clifford Orcutt of Crosby, William Banister of Outing, Tim (Diane) Hummel of Crosby, Gene (Ginny ) Hummel of Embarrass and Jim Wakefield of Barrows; ex wife, Virginia A. Hummel of Ironton; special friend, Diane Zimpel of Sui Sun City, CA nine grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, and two brothers, Kenny Orcutt and Duane Banister. Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday.
