Michael Scott "Mick" Lind

Michael Scott “Mick” Lind, age 69 of Crosby died on April 8, 2024.   He was born on August 20, 1954 in Crosby to Clarence “Skip” and Marie (Eastham) Lind.  Mick married Rene Rude on May 1, 2004 in Crosby.  He was a retired Crosby Fire Fighter with 30 years of service and was a retired custodian for the Crosby-Ironton School District with 32 years of service.

Mick is survived by his wife Rene; his daughter Amy (Joseph) Eberly of Brainerd; step child, Jack Kalvser of Portland, OR; two sisters, Jan (Al) Doonan of Deerwood and Eileen Root of Deerwood; six grandchildren, Trinity, Madalyn, Gibson, Marley, Kody and Brogan; and one great grandchild, Adeline.

Preceding Mick in death are his parents; one daughter Jennifer Lee and step son, Joshua Kalvser.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2024 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  If desired memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
