Michael Donald Peterson age 52 of Aitkin died on January 9, 2014 at the Essentia St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. He was born on November 19, 1961 in Crosby to Donald and Elizabeth (Lubovich) Peterson. Mike was a US air force veteran. He was Grand Casino employee with over 20 years of service.
Survivors include his father, Donald (Shirley) Peterson of Deerwood; 1 sister, Angela (Russell) Dahn of Maple Grove and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth "Liz" Peterson in 2010.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby with military honors given by the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion post of Deerwood. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Saturday.
