Muriel N. Dehning age 92 of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Minneapolis died February 1, 2011 at Amanda's Care Home in Mesa. She was born on June 12, 1918 in Malta, MT to John and Rejena (Mebust) Stokke. She married Fred Dehning on June 15, 1946 in Minneapolis. Survivors include: son, William (Jean) Dehning of Minneapolis; a daughter, Delores (Jon) Loomer of Castle Rock, CO; 4 grandchildren, Stephanie Grimm, Ann Hintz, Devon and Brent Loomer; 2 great grandchildren, Nicholas (Christian) Grimm and Annabelle (Andrew) Hintz; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Fred in 2001, 2 sisters, Mabel Stokke and Julia Barnes; 1 brother, Norman Stokke. Funeral services will be 2 pm on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church of Cedarbrook, Aitkin. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby, MN. Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church of Cedarbrook.
