Norman Elmo Olson

Norman Elmo Olson age 77 of Nokay Lake Township died on August 3, 2016 at his home. He was born in Brainerd on April 7, 1939 to Martin and Dorothy (Wright) Olson. Norman married Kris Hawley on October 19, 1969 in Reno, NV. He served with Minnesota National Guard. He was a retired carpenter, millwright, machinist and sawyer with Hewlitt Packard, Honeywell and on the pipeline in Alaska.
Norman is survived by his wife, Kris; two brothers, Gene (Dorothy) Olson of Boise, Idaho, Roald (Kris) Olson of Camarillo, CA; two sisters, Miriam McCullen of Knoxville, TN and Laurel Atneosen of Deerwood; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding Norman in death are his parents; three brothers, Wright, Richard, and Arthur Olson; and one sister, Joan Yancer.
No services are being held. Burial was at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
