Patricia Ann "Patti" Raymond age 75 of Deerwood died peacefully in her sleep of complications from COPD at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on December 30, 1939 in Brainerd to Bertil and Louise (Konen) Karlson. Patti attended St. Francis Catholic School in Brainerd and then graduated from the Brainerd High School class of 1957. She married Richard Raymond on August 20, 1960 in Brainerd. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood and it's CCW.
Patti is survived by her loving and caring husband of 54 years, Richard "Dick" Raymond; 1 son, Tom (Laurel) Raymond of Deep Haven; 2 daughters, Cindy (Jay) Amundson of St. Paul and Stephanie (Ross) Beckstrand of Canon Falls; 2 brothers, David Karlson of Tacoma, WA and Jim Karlson of Brainerd; 1 sister, Eloise (Roger) Bierman of Cuyuna; nine grandchildren, Evan, Ben, Connor, Madalyn, Mackenzie, Miranda, Jolie, Brynn and Leah.
Pattie is preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Richard Karlson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Deerwood Scandia Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby on Wednesday from 4 to 6 pm with a rosary at 5:30 pm and 1 hour prior to the funeral services at the church on Thursday.
