Paul Mackrill Burson II age 78 of Ironton died at the St. Cloud Hospital on October 12, 2016. He was born on November 15, 1937 in Des Moines, IA to Paul and Ruth (Youngman) Burson. Paul married Judith Hurtig on July 16, 1971 in Colton, SD. Paul was and Eagle Scout and Scout Master of Troop 17 in St. Anthony Park; a former correction officer at the Totem Town and Lino Lakes Facilities. He was also a former security officer at IDS, Town Square, and Har-Mar Mall buildings. Paul was a former school bus driver with White Bear Lake and Crosby-Ironton School Districts. Paul and Judi were former live-in directors at the Nazareth House in Oakdale with 12 years of service. He was a member at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.
Paul is survived by his wife, Judith; two daughters, Lee Ann (Rick) Hohenstein of Aitkin and Polly McDonald of Redlands, CA; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 1 pm on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the 1 pm service at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
