Pearl Marie Buckman age 90 of Deerwood died on January 1, 2014 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on February 10, 1923 in Corcoran Township, MN to Charles and Henrietta (Hagel) Weber. Pearl was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Deerwood and a life member of the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Auxiliary Post 557, Deerwood.
Survivors include her companion, Frank Oppelt of Ironton; 3 sons, Charles (Mona) Nordquist of Mora, John (Linda) Nordquist of Aitkin and Arnold (Linda) Nordquist of Otsego; 5 daughters, Rosemary (Loren) Papesh of Zimmerman, Ann Marie (Gordon) Balfanz of Coon Rapids, Donna Rivers of Monticello, Mary (Jerry) Sinns of St. Paul and Cecilia (Ron) Erickson of Ham Lake; 1 brother, Gilbert (LaVerne) Weber of Brooklyn Center; 1 sister, Agnes Bering of St. Michael; sister-in-law; Elva Weber of Rogers; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her parents, 1 husband, Raymond Nordquist; 2nd husband, Harry Buckman; 1 great grandson, Isaac Doely and 1 brother, Richard Weber.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
