Richard Warren "Dick" Willett

June 4, 1929 — July 5, 2023

Richard Warren “Dick” Willett, age 94, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Wednesday, July 5, 2023.  Dick was born to Ethel Maude Johnson and Roy Lee Willett in St. Paul, MN on June 4, 1929. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. Dick married Ellen Jeanne Melberg on May 11, 1951. He had a love for the Lord, prioritized his family, and enjoyed socializing with his church friends and within the community. He was an entrepreneur and advertising salesman. Dick was the founder and operator of Miadco, Inc., giving 35 years of service.

Dick is survived by his sons, Dan (Debbie) and David; his daughter, Diane Allgood; Grandchildren, Josh, Ben (Jessica), Sarah (Drew) Morrison, and Emily (Eric) Hedberg; great grandchildren, Lucy, Georgia, Kenadie, Abe, Atleigh, Reagan and Smith Willett, Rose, Noah, Luke and Sam Morrison, Olive, Henry and Hazel Hedberg, each of whom he loved dearly and prayed for regularly.

Preceding Dick in death are his parents; his wife Jeanne; son Richard “Rick” and son-in-law, Charles Allgood.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Brookdale Covenant Church in Brooklyn Center.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. If desired memorial are preferred to LAPS (Lakes Area Pregnancy Support) 315 E. River Rd, Set 1, Brainerd, MN. 56401.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home, Crosby.
