Richard Russell Fageroos Sr. age 83 of Perry Lake Township died on June 10, 2014 at his home. He was born on June 12, 1930 in Crosby to Henry and Mary (Gabrio) Fageroos. He married Edna Hearld on December 1, 1951 in Angola Indiana.
Survivors include 2 sons, Henry (Ruth) Fageroos of St. Cloud and Richard Fageroos Jr. of Moose Lake; 2 daughters, Ann (Phillip) Miller of Coldwater, MI, Linda Ferrier of Crosby; daughter-in-law, Frances Zimmerman of Akron, OH; 2 brothers, Albert (Darlene) Seguin of Aitkin, and Michael Seguin of Crosby; 1 sister, Dawn (Wayne) Hargrove of Concord, CA; sisters-in-law, Alice Fageroos of Aitkin and Betty Seguin of Crosby; 13 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his father, Arthur Seguin; his wife Edna; 1 son, Marvin Zimmerman; 2 grandchildren, 3 brothers, John Seguin, Henry Fageroos, and Art Seguin; and 2 sisters, Marilyn Williams and Elaine Durham.
Funeral Services will be 2 pm on Sunday, June 15, 2014 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby with full military honors given by the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood. A visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the 2 pm service.
