Richard A. Groninga

Richard “Rich” Allan Groninga, age 74 of Emily MN passed away September 14, 2022 peacefully at home after a long courageous battle with Parkinson Disease.

Rich is survived by wife of 57 years, Ardis Groninga; children, Todd (Jean) Groninga, Tanya (Scott) Singer, Traci Groninga; grandchildren, Amber Groninga, Torrie Groninga, Autumn Groninga, Zach (Zoe) Singer; great-grandchild, Levi Richard Singer; brothers, Ronald Groninga, & Robert Groninga.

Preceded by parents Herbert & Marcella Groninga; brother, Bruce Groninga; & grandson, Tanner Groninga.

The family is especially grateful for the loving care provided by St Croix Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred in Rich’s name to The Michael J. Fox Foundation (P.O. Box 5014 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5014).

Burial will be at 12:30 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Borgund Lutheran Church (2762 260th Street Madison, MN 56256).  A celebration of life will be from 1-4 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the Channel Bar in Outing, MN.
