Richard Eugene Roberts

Richard Eugene Roberts was born on September 1st, 1955 in Crosby, MN to Eldon Roberts and Beatrice Bowman. He passed away from surgery complications on February 13th, 2026 in Robbinsdale, MN.

Richard was proud of his country and served in the United States Air Force. He Served in the battle of Vietnam. Richard was known for his social skills and also referred to by many as "The Meat Raffle Man." He could be seen calling many meat raffles in the area and often heard yelling "Hell Yeah!" when a winner was called. Aside from his friends and family Richard was proud of his son Joseph Roberts of Cuyuna. 

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28th, 2026 at The Taconite Canteen in Ironton, MN. A private burial will be planned at a later date.
