Ricky Finseth

Ricky D. Finseth, age 67 of Rabbit Lake Township died on November 16, 2019 at his home following a brief battle with cancer. He was born on January 2, 1952 in Preston, MN to Donald and Alta (Richter) Finseth.  Ricky was passionate about dairy farming and was an advocate for farmers and dairies across the Midwest during his long and successful career with Vigortone and Farmland companies. Most recently he served as the building maintenance manager for Deerwood Housing. An accomplished craftsman, Ricky had a tremendous talent for woodworking with an affinity for the beauty of hardwoods like oak and maple. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cedarbrook.

Ricky is survived by two daughters, Jennifer (Bryan) Berwanger of Hartland, WI and Jessica (Matt) Hehl of Reedsburg, WI; two brothers, Dwaine (Jeanne) Finseth of Plano, TX and Gerald (Claudia) Finseth of Rochester; one sister, Aleta (Mark) Christopherson of Austin, MN; and three grandchildren.

Preceding Ricky in death are his parents and wife, Catherine Lillian Barber Finseth.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
