Robert James "Joker" Egan age 64 of Ironton died on September 20, 2014 at his home. He was born on April 26, 1950 in Crosby to James and Meridee (Mayheu) Egan.

He was a retired crane operator as a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 and a part owner of Aide Home Care. Joker was a member of the Iron Range Iron Riders motorcycle club. He was an avid car collector, keeping them in mint condition.

Survivors include his wife Debbie; Step-son, Randy (April Newhouse) Van Horn of Princeton; 1 sister Sandra (Jeff) Lousteau of Lafayette, LA; sisters-in-law Kathy Zettvall and Barb Risnes both of Ironton; 2 step grandchildren, Masyn and Aryahna VanHorn.

Preceding him in death are his parents, and 1 nephew Sterling Egan.

A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the C-I Pub (240 Curtis Ave.) Ironton. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
