Robert "Bob" Kuschel

Robert “Bob” Kuschel age 68 of Ironton died on August 2, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  He was born on March 14, 1953 in Brainerd to Richard and Violet (Nordin) Kuschel.  Bob married Cindra Yaple on August 4, 1979 in Prior Lake.  He was a retired Crosby-Ironton High School teacher, teaching chemistry, physics and 9thgrade science.  He gave over 30 years of service.  He was a long-time Crosby-Ironton 9th grade basketball coach; was a Mississippi Head Water Board Person; was involved with Cuyuna Range Chapter of Ducks Unlimited, Muskies Inc., Brainerd Lakes Chapter, and was a founding member of the Cuyuna Range Recreation Area Board.  He was a very passionate outdoorsman; he loved to hunt, fish, rice harvest and trap.

Bob is survived by his wife Cindy; his sons, Reid Kuschel of Ironton and Ryan (Brittany) Kuschel of Cloquet; his mother, Vi Kuschel of Crosby; three brothers, Richard (Nosara) Kuschel of Effy,

Ron (Kay) Kuschel of Dunnellon, FL and Ray Kuschel of Crosby; one sister Linda Kuschel of Crosby; one grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Bob in death is his father, Richard Kuschel.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Bob and Cindy’s home (21134 Blue Gill Road, Ironton).  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
