Roger "Swede" Carlson age 61 of Outing died on December 25, 2012. He was born on January 29. 1951 in Minneapolis to Russell and Shirley (Martin) Carlson. He was a former member of the Carpenter Union Local 851. He married Joanne Lila Violett on October 12, 1974 in Robbinsdale. Survivors include his wife Joanne; 1 sister, Claudia Zupon (Ron Wadsworth) of Corcoran; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Friends may call at the Koop Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 1 to 4 pm with a prayer services at 3:30 pm. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.
