Roger Alvin Olds age 68 of Outing died on May 6, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital. He was born on June 22, 1943 in Outing to Ralph and Florence (Roberts) Olds. He married Diane Skweres on January 7, 1967 in St. Paul. Roger was a former carpenter with Hoffman and Sons Construction, a former partner with Olds Forest Products; a retired operator with Crooked Lake Township and a Supervisor for Beulah Township with 47 years of service and was a retired Crooked Lake Fireman with 25 years of service. Survivors include his with Diane; 2 sons, Brian (Becky) Olds of Outing and Dennis Olds of Chanhassen; 3 brothers, Gene (Nancy) Olds of Aurora, Doug (Donna) Olds of Grand Rapids and Ken (Fran) Olds of Outing; 2 sisters, Shirley O'Brien of Durango, CO and Kathy (Victor) Harvet of Outing; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Preceding him in death are his parents and 3 brothers, Richard, Russell and Ted. Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at St. Emily's Catholic Church in Emily. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
