Ronald C. "Ronnie/Ron" Proodian

Ronald C. Proodian "Ron/Ronnie" passed away March 24, 2020 at Quiet Oaks Hospice in St Cloud, Minnesota from complications related to advanced kidney disease.

To honor him, a graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 10:30 at Lakewood Cemetery, 21235 Wood Avenue, Ironton, MN with Deacon Dan Goshey presiding.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law: Robert, Merlin (Kip), Bruce “Bud” Nelson, Douglas (Dick) Nelson and brother-in-law Louis Schemmel; sisters-in-law: Janet Nelson and Janice Nelson; nieces Kari Glauvitz and Diane Mayer and nephews Ryan Mayer, Stephen Mayer, Jaime Nelson and Jerry Glauvitz.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Scena; brother Richard (Carole) Proodian; brothers-in-law Gerald, James, Wayne (Mary Ann) and sisters-in-law Veronica (Tutie) Schemmel, Marilyn Nelson and Linda Nelson, and countless nieces and nephews….who he cherished and considered “his kids”.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Cuyuna Lakes Education Foundation, CLEF – C-I District Office, 711 Poplar Street, Crosby, MN 56441 or Quiet Oaks Hospice House, 5537 Galaxy Road, St. Cloud, MN 56301.
