Rosemary (Van Horn) Vadner, age 79 of Ellsworth, WI passed away on May 21, 2024 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on May 11, 1945 in Brainerd to Jesse and Hettie (Amos) Van Horn.
Rosemary is survived by one son, Jerry Vadner of Woodville, WI; two daughters, Bonita (Brad) Olson of Plum City, MN and Hettie (Michael) Carlson on Welch, MN; two brothers, Roy (Virginia) Van Horn of Aitkin and Jerry (Lucy) Van Horn of Crosby; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Rosemary was an active member of her church, Assembly of God. She participated in Operation Christmas Child each year, and put together gift baskets to celebrate each new baby of her congregation. She was incredibly generous. Rosemary loved spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Preceding Rosemary in death are her parents; her grandson, Bradley “Charlie” Enevold, three brothers, Jesse Jr., Richard and Lee Van Horn; and three sisters, Hazel Whitesong, Alice Segiun and Emma Kuhen.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be at the Mission Township Cemetery.
