Ruby Ione Gujer

Ruby Ione Gujer age 82 of Crosby formerly of Duluth died at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby on January 13, 2015. She was born in Barron County, WI to Amos and Verna (Blyton) Jacobson on February 19, 1932. Ruby grew up in the Morgan Park area at the US Steel Development. She graduated from the Morgan Park High School, class of 1950. In high school she was active in music and orchestra. Ruby did a lot of charitable work with the PTA, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H leaderships in the Duluth area. She was retired vice president of the Gujer Advertising Company in Duluth.
Ruby is survived by 3 sons, Thomas (Julie) Gujer of Prescott, WI, Mark (Traci) Gujer of Deerwood and Peter Gujer of Inver Grove Heights; 1 daughter, Hollie (Danny) Nelson of Scottsdale, AZ; 1 brother, Thomas (Betty) Jacobson of Hobart, IN; 1 sister, Darlene (Walter) Fulton of Duluth; nine grandchildren, Brandon, Grede; Justin and Luke Cybulski; Matt and Nate Caple, Abbi, and Ben Gujer, Gabbi and Gracie Gujer; and one great grandchild, Braeden Caple.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Robert in 1991; 1 son, Paul John Gujer and 2 sisters, Gerri Wold and Beth Geason.
No services are being held. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
